The short version

This website sets no tracking cookies, which is why you don't see a cookie banner. The desktop app processes your footage entirely on your own machine — nothing you scan is ever uploaded.

Who we are

This website and the 360 Gaussian Pro desktop app are made and operated by Laskos Virtuals Oy, a company registered in Finland. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Laskos Virtuals Oy is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless measurement tool. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across sites. We only see aggregate numbers such as page views and referrers.

Embedded videos

Product videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube does not set cookies unless you play a video; if you do, YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that playback.

Purchases and licenses

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record. When you buy a license, Polar collects the billing information needed to complete the transaction under its own privacy policy. We receive what is needed to issue and manage your license — such as your email address and order details — and nothing more.

To check that a license is valid, the app sends your license key and your computer's hostname — used as the machine label you see in the Polar portal — to Polar when you activate and on each launch. No other information about you or your machine is sent, and we do no hardware fingerprinting. The resulting license record is stored encrypted on your own computer (Windows DPAPI) and kept until you deactivate or uninstall. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.

The desktop app

360 Gaussian Pro runs locally. Your footage, frames, masks, reconstructions and any sensor data in your clips stay on your machine — we never receive them. The app connects to the internet only to validate licenses (above), check for updates, download the masking model on first use, and — once, on its first launch — to send an anonymous ping that increments an install counter. The ping carries no identifier and no information about you or your machine.

Update checks and the one-time model download (Meta's Segment Anything, fetched from Cloudflare R2) are ordinary web requests, so they expose your IP address to Cloudflare, which may log it briefly. The model then runs entirely on your machine. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in delivering updates and providing the feature.

Use restrictions

Some bundled components carry their own terms that pass through to you — notably Meta's Segment Anything model behind the masking step, which may not be used for military or warfare, nuclear, espionage or weapons purposes. Your rights

You may access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your personal data. For purchase data held by Polar, exercise these rights through Polar; for anything we hold, contact us. You may also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutettu) or your local supervisory authority. We keep no central database of users, and we do no profiling or automated decision-making.
